Well, my 34th birthday has come and gone and I had a cracking day. I was woken up by one hyperactive Maggie keen for me to open her card, followed by cards from Lennon and Kelly although she also brought me a cup of coffee.

This was quickly followed by a full cooked breakfast (champion) and a visit from Dad.

In the afternoon we popped along to the big slash 2103 festival at the Riverfront in Newport Centre which was a good. Plenty for everyone to do and quite a diverse range of acts and activities on offer. Maggie loved the free mask making by Nathan Sheen, she became a butterfly for the afternoon.

The evening consisted of a tasty curry from the Tamarind in Risca and ‘The Bourne Legacy’ DVD (Don’t bother, it was awful…) eating sweets kindly bought by Deb & Stephen – cheers guys!

Thanks for all the messages and wishes!
